Oil Palm

Into the Heart of Borneo

We were commissioned by National Geographic Channel and WWF to make a short film about the WWF forest reclamation project in the heart of Borneo.

Borneo, once an oasis of primary rain forest, has now been raped and pillaged of the thirst of oil palm. Rows of mono cultured plantations now stand in place of the original bio-rich forests.

One of the true victims of this habitat loss is the majestic Orangutan.

WWF in partnership with National Geographic Channel, are trying to restore and re balance parts of the deforested region.

It’s just a drop in the ocean, but to do nothing for this globally respected NGO is not an option.
